Principal's Message

At Crestview, we are dedicated to developing students who strive to grow and improve every day.  Crestview offers a rigorous academic schedule of the core subjects: English/Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies, which is balanced with a full offering of related arts including: Academic Focus Classes, Art, Band, Choir, Communications, Computer Applications, Physical Education, Preparing for College and Careers, Spanish, and Technology Education.  These academic offerings are partnered with a full array of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities that include 15 clubs/afterschool activities and 10 athletic teams.  All of these opportunities are designed to provide our students with an amazing middle school experience.  In the end, our goal is to create students who are highly-motivated and hard-working.  Crestview wants our students to be dedicated to continuous growth and determined to improve themselves every day for the rest of their lives.

About Our School

Crestview is one of two middle schools in Huntington County Community School Corporation. Crestview serves the needs of approximately 604 students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Our 6th grade students are split into academic teams for their core classes to foster nurturing learning communities. In 7th and 8th grade, our students follow a more traditional seven-period schedule, which affords them many opportunities in their core subject areas and related arts subjects alike. The Crestview staff works hard to provide a meaningful and enriching educational middle school experience for all students. We strive to bridge the gap between elementary school and high school for Huntington County Community Schools.
